Ingredients:
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 1 lb ground beef or chicken (optional)
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup guacamole
- Salsa, to serve
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef or chicken (if using) until browned and fully cooked. Season with your preferred spices.
- On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips evenly.
- Spread the refried beans over the chips, then sprinkle the cooked meat (if using).
- Evenly top the nachos with shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
- Add diced tomatoes, black olives, and jalapeños.
