Ingredients:
For the Dough:

1 cup warm milk (about 110°F / 45°C)

2 ¼ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast

2 large eggs, room temperature

⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

4 ½ cups all-purpose flour

½ cup granulated sugar

1 tsp salt
For the Filling:

⅔ cup brown sugar, packed

2 ½ tbsp ground cinnamon

¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz (½ block) cream cheese, softened

¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

½ tsp vanilla extract

1–2 tbsp milk (to thin as needed)

Instructions:

Activate the Yeast
In a large bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. -
Make the Dough
Add eggs, melted butter, sugar, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir in flour gradually until a soft dough forms. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic (or 5 minutes in a stand mixer with a dough hook). -
First Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled in size. -
Prepare the Filling
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. -
Roll and Fill
Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a 16×12 inch rectangle. Spread softened butter on top, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly. -
Shape Rolls
Roll the dough up tightly from the long side. Cut into 12 even pieces and place in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. -
Second Rise
