Ingredients

For the donuts:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup whole milk (or buttermilk)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup fresh or frozen blueberries

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Instructions

    1. Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a donut pan with cooking spray or butter.
    2. Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
    3. Combine Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
    4. Mix the Batter
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries, being careful not to overmix.
    5. Fill the Donut Pan
Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about ¾ full.
    6. Bake
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the donuts are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
    7. Make the Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
    8. Glaze the Donuts
Once the donuts are completely cooled, dip the tops in the glaze or drizzle it over them. Let the glaze set for a few minutes before serving.
