1. Prep the Oven and Pans

Grease and line two 8-inch (or one 9-inch) round cake pans with parchment paper.
2. Make the Chocolate Cake

In a bowl, mix the milk and vinegar. Let sit 5 minutes to curdle (makes buttermilk substitute).
