🧂 Ingredients

For 4 servings:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs, pounded evenly)

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated preferred)

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

For the garlic butter mixture:

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil.

  2. Prepare Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, olive oil, and minced garlic. Set aside.

  3. Mix the Coating
In another bowl, combine Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  4. Coat the Chicken
Brush each chicken breast generously with the garlic butter mixture, then dredge in the Parmesan-breadcrumb coating.
Press gently to make sure the crust sticks well.

  5. Bake
Arrange the coated chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle or brush any remaining garlic butter over the top.
Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until the chicken is golden and cooked through (internal temp should reach 165°F / 74°C).

  6. Broil for Extra Crispiness (Optional)
For an even crispier crust, switch the oven to broil for the last 1–2 minutes — just keep a close eye on it!

  7. Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and a little extra Parmesan before serving.
