Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8-inch square baking pan.

Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, beat eggs, then whisk in milk, melted butter, vanilla, and honey (if using).
