Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles Recipe

Rich, creamy, and indulgent, these Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles are a no-bake treat that combines the irresistible flavors of chocolate and peanut butter in every bite. Perfect for holidays, parties, or a sweet anytime craving, these truffles are easy to make and absolutely decadent.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1½ cups powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or shortening (optional, for smoother chocolate)


Instructions:

  1. Make the Filling:
    In a mixing bowl, beat together peanut butter, butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until a thick dough forms.

  2. Shape Truffles:
    Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.

  3. Melt Chocolate:
    In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.

  4. Dip Truffles:
    Using a fork or dipping tool, coat each peanut butter ball in the melted chocolate. Let excess chocolate drip off, then return to parchment.

  5. Set and Serve:
    Chill truffles in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes or until the chocolate sets. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.


Optional Toppings:

  • Drizzle with white chocolate

  • Sprinkle with crushed peanuts or sea salt

  • Roll in cocoa powder or sprinkles before chocolate sets


Tip: These truffles also freeze beautifully—perfect for make-ahead treats!
