Chocolate Chip bar

Posted on January 30, 2025

these Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars are perfect! No need to scoop individual cookies—just spread the dough in a pan and bake. They’re soft, chewy, and packed with gooey chocolate chips.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until combined.
  3. Add dry ingredients: Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  6. Cool & Enjoy: Let the bars cool in the pan before slicing into squares.

Pro Tip: For extra gooey bars, slightly underbake and let them set as they cool!

Would you like any variations, like adding nuts or making them gluten-free?
