Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 15–20 mins

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef (80/20)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 12 slices pepperoni (sugar-free if strict carnivore)

  • ½ cup sugar-free pizza sauce (optional if not strict carnivore)

  • Extra mozzarella slices (optional for topping)

  • 1 tbsp butter or tallow (for pan frying)

  • Instructions:

    1. Preheat & Prep:
Heat a skillet or grill to medium-high heat. In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 large patties.

    2. Cook the Patties:
Melt butter or tallow in your pan. Cook patties 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

    3. Build the Pizza Burger:
Place cooked patties on a baking tray. Top each with a spoonful of pizza sauce (optional), a layer of pepperoni, shredded mozzarella, and parmesan.

    4. Melt the Cheese:
Broil in the oven for 2–3 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and melted. Watch closely to prevent burning.

    5. Serve Hot:
Serve as-is for full carnivore, or with a side of crispy bacon, eggs, or even a dollop of ricotta.

    6. Optional Toppings:

      • Cooked sausage crumbles

      • Cooked mushrooms (if not strict carnivore)

      • Fried egg on top for extra richness

      • More pepperoni or beef bacon
