🔥 Barbequed Beef Ribs Recipe
Ingredients:
-
3–4 lbs (1.5–2 kg) beef back ribs or short ribs
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
Salt & pepper to taste
-
1 tbsp smoked paprika
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
½ tsp chili powder (optional for heat)
-
1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
Instructions:
-
Prep the Ribs:
Remove the thin silver membrane from the back of the ribs for better texture. Pat the ribs dry. -
Season:
In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Rub ribs all over with olive oil and season generously with the spice mix. -
Slow Bake (Optional but Recommended):
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Wrap the ribs in foil and place them on a baking tray. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender. -
Grill/BBQ Finish:
Preheat your grill to medium-high. Unwrap the ribs and brush with BBQ sauce. Grill each side for about 5–7 minutes, basting with more sauce and turning until nicely charred and sticky.
Tips:
-
For smoky flavor, add wood chips to your grill or use a smoker if available.
-
Let the ribs rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.
-
Serve with coleslaw, corn on the cob, or potato salad for a full BBQ meal.
