Oreo Cookies and Cream

This Oreo Cookies and Cream Dessert combines the beloved crunch of Oreo cookies with creamy, decadent layers of cream cheese and chocolate pudding, creating a crowd-pleasing treat. The buttery Oreo crust adds a rich base, while the light whipped topping balances out the sweetness.

Ingredients:

  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip), divided
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Extra crushed Oreos for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Crust: Crush 20 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8×8 inch pan to create the crust. Set aside in the fridge to chill.
  2. Cream Layer: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping and mix gently. Spread this mixture evenly over the Oreo crust.
  3. Pudding Layer: In another bowl, whisk the chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until it thickens. Spread this pudding layer over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top Layer: Gently spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  5. Garnish: Crush the remaining Oreo cookies and sprinkle them over the top of the whipped topping. Chill the dessert for at least 2-3 hours before serving.
