Strawberry Bombs

Strawberry Bombs are a delectable fusion of creamy and crunchy textures, transforming ordinary strawberries into a spectacular treat. Each juicy strawberry is hollowed and filled with a luscious cream cheese mixture, creating a burst of flavor in every bite.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Rinse the strawberries and pat them dry. Carefully hull the strawberries with a small knife or a strawberry huller, making sure not to cut through the sides.
  2. Make the Filling: In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fill the Strawberries: Using a small spoon or piping bag, fill each strawberry with the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Prepare the Coating: In a small bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated. If you’re using mini chocolate chips, stir them into the graham cracker mixture.
  5. Coat the Strawberries: Roll each filled strawberry in the graham cracker mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks.
  6. Chill and Serve: Place the coated strawberries on a plate or tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. This will help the filling set and the coating adhere better.
