Jam-Filled Glazed Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
For the cookies:

1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened

2/3 cup (130g) granulated sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 ¼ cups (280g) all-purpose flour

½ tsp salt
Filling:

½ cup fruit jam (raspberry, strawberry, or apricot work best)
For the glaze:

1 cup (120g) powdered sugar

2–3 tsp milk
-
½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cream the butter and sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy.

Add egg and vanilla, and beat until well combined.

Mix in flour and salt until a soft dough forms.

Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

Make an indent in the center of each ball with your thumb or the back of a spoon.

Fill the center with about ½ teaspoon of jam.

To Glaze:
