🍫 Gluten-Free Fudgy Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate)

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for extra moisture and richness)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour (with xanthan gum, or add 1/4 tsp if not included)

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or extra chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease well.

  2. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat or microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Cool slightly.

  3. Whisk in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.

  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.

  5. Sift in the cocoa powder, gluten-free flour, and salt. Stir until smooth and glossy.

  6. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if using.

  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.

  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).

  9. Cool completely before cutting for clean edges and best texture.

🍽️ Tips:

  • Want extra gooey brownies? Bake closer to 25 minutes.

  • For cakier texture, add 1/4 tsp baking powder.

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days—or freeze for longer!
