Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef (or thinly sliced steak)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • Instructions

    1. Preheat & Prep
      • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a casserole dish and set aside.
    2. Cook the Beef
      • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
      • Add ground beef (or steak strips) and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
    3. Sauté the Vegetables
      • In the same pan, add onion, bell peppers, and garlic. Sauté until softened (about 5 minutes).
    4. Combine Ingredients
      • Return the beef to the skillet. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir to combine.
      • Mix in softened cream cheese until well blended.
    5. Assemble & Bake
      • Transfer mixture to the casserole dish. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
      • Layer provolone slices on top.
    6. Bake & Serve
      • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
