Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 4 cups chicken or beef broth
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Fresh basil for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
- Sauté the Meat:
In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and Italian sausage, cooking until browned. Break the meat into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat. - Cook the Vegetables:
Add diced onions and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for another 1 minute until fragrant. - Add Tomatoes and Broth:
